First day so lots of new faces and people to meet from all over the US. We went to the GoreTex factory and saw how that was made and some of their development products. They ran scenarios wearing their new chemical suits so we could see what they were like and they did measurements of body temperature etc. A fun day and I made it to another state as the factory is in Deleware so one more to the list. Tomorrow more of the lecture type lessons so n0t so much fun but should be interesting. Some of these photos are of the exercise we did in the new gas suits.

Howdy, Scott, great to see the adventure continues even though you're now hours away from where you started. We are really enjoying your reports and photos (even when some are really of interest to your work buddies. Keeep it all coming, it makes it seem you are not all that far away, enen if the family know full well you're not at home with them. Two weeks today and it will be all over. As Mum says, you make us very proud parents and we know you'll take the most out it all.

Well on the other side of the States now aye. Is it still as hot as Phoenix? Would be extra hot in those suits if the temperatures are stil up there. Hope you get some laughs at the comference as well as all that learning. Maybe you will get a nice offer to dinner with some home cooked crab.........Yum Yum aye. Not for me anyway!!! Maybe Peter would like to try that. Have fun and keep up with the info.
