Charlotte Fire

Spent day with a Chief from Charlotte Fire Department today, he gave me a tour of the city and a look around their training college and some of their stations. I then had dinner at station 10 we went to a small house fire which was interesting there were 7 engines and 4 battalion captains on scene they could have trampled the fire out. I then had dinner at station 10 which was fun they have a dive squad that specialises in technical diving and swift water rescue.

Off to Monroe tomorrow to visit the Scott factory which is about 45mins from here so that will be interesting.

Guess after the station you belong to here has seen these pics they will be upstaging what you have seen over there - yeah right.
Not long now, looking forward to your arrival home

Pity you couldn't get out in some of that water gear aye Scott. Would have been fun. Perhaps you can do something interesting at that Scott Place??? What is it anyway???We've only heard of Scott Base and that is in Antartica!!!Have great fun in New York. Time is getting shorter.
